It was supposed to rain all weekend, so I slipped downtown on Thursday afternoon after work and sat down in front of my favorite storefront for a picture. The store is a jewelry designer's tiny showroom and she had beautiful pink petunias and an old chair by the front door. Perfect sun and a pretty setting made for a happy afternoon shot. Lawyers were leaving offices next door, and I'm sure they thought I was a crazy person taking a seat and smiling at nobody on a Thursday afternoon downtown!
